Makefast Ltd. is a manufacturing company based in beautiful Mid Wales. In addition to producing a comprehensive range of safety and marine components we also distribute complementary products, e.g. rapid links, forged connectors and plastic buckles, always with the emphasis on quality and reliability. We are ISO.9001.2000 certificated.

For four years now we have also designed and produced yacht manual and electric sliding roofs. For us this has been an exciting development ,with our sunroofs and biminis now being used by many major boat builders of luxury craft. Our latest design is an hydraulic bimini unit for new build yachts plus retrofit.

Whilst this has been a significant development for us, we are aware that the safety buckles, triangles, D rings, etc. that we manufacture are an important part of our business. Again the emphasis is on quality and reliability and we continue to develop new products, often in partnership with our customers. Our design department is always available to discuss all requirements.

We also manufacture a range of fittings for yacht sprayhoods, covers and canopies. Included in this range is our unique Sleek track. This includes a polished cover which conceals the working part of the track, thus making a very attractive appearance. A range of cars has been designed to fit the Sleek track.

We have a small range of other marine fittings, including stainless drop nose pins in two head styles. Other products include U bolts, stow blocks and sailmakers items.
